FULL CYCLE & COLORADO MULTISPORT ANNOUNCE PLANS TO MERGE
by Full Cycle Bikes

For Immediate Release. Boulder, CO. November 11

Full Cycle Bikes, voted 2019 & 2020 Best Bike Shop of Boulder County and a leader serving Boulder and the nearby Colorado Front Range communities of mountain bikers, gravel grinders, and electric and hybrid road commuters, is combining forces with Colorado Multisport, a world leading triathlon-focused store. The two businesses will combine into one, preserving both brands and their respective specialties under one roof.  The merger process is well underway and will be completed before the start of the new year. Both businesses are relocating to a new building, currently in the midst of buildout, located at 2355 30th Street, adjacent to Whole Foods, the new Google campus, RTD’s new commuter station, and directly across from the Goose Creek Bike path.

How many times in 2020 have you heard the word “unprecedented?” How many times have you had to adjust your lifestyle and daily habits? How many times have you had to settle into a “new norm”?  They say that change is the only constant in life. They also say that in order to maintain balance you have to keep moving forward. These words couldn’t be truer this year,  across the world, across our nation, in our community, in our families, in our workplaces, and in our individual lives.

You may already have heard our announcement that Full Cycle and The Tune Up Taproom & Espresso Bar are moving into a new space (2355 30th Street) - the old Vitamin Cottage building, just east of Whole Foods, this winter. You may also have heard that The Tune Up (voted 2018 Best New Business and nominated 2020 Best Sports Bar of Boulder County) is closing its doors on Pearl Street next Friday November 20th, after 4 years of operation, primarily due to COVID restrictions. The Tune Up plans to re-open its doors in Spring 2021 at the new location.

To keep up with the theme of CHANGE for the year, we have MORE NEWS for you.  We are extremely excited to announce that we won’t be alone moving into our new 8,460 square foot state-of-the-art facility. We extended the opportunity to a local independently owned bike shop to join us in our endeavor to bring the best offerings possible to our awesome Boulder cycling community as a whole, and they accepted it.  Colorado Multisport will be closing its doors at its current location at the end of this year and joining Full Cycle at 2355 30th Street this winter.
