2D Bike Fit Review and Consultation: $250 (Road, Mountain, Gravel, Triathlon)

Our 2D Bike Fit Review and Consultation service offers a great starting point for riders and incorporates the key fundamental elements from our more advanced 3D Comprehensive Retul Bike Fit service.

This service is geared toward recreational riders of all levels and utilizes static measurements and basic bike adjustments to optimize rider safety, comfort, and efficiency.

Whether you are experiencing discomfort on your current bike, wanting to increase efficiency, or simply want to explore your options, the 2D fit is a great choice.

Why get a bike fit?

Injury Prevention and Safety:

A properly fitted bike helps promote proper body mechanics and allows for increased riding comfort, therefore, reducing overall risk of injury.

Efficiency:

Using various body geometry measurements, fitters are better able to understand how a rider moves in real time and make proper adjustments to maximize power output with every pedal stroke.

What does a 2D fit look at?

Step 1: Arch height

Based on the geometry of the foot, fitters may recommend foot beds as needed to provide the rider with proper arch and forefoot support.

Step 2: Shoe/cleat placement

Cleat placement and pedaling stance is adjusted as needed to help the rider maximize power output and overall comfort on the bike.

Step 3: Sit bone measurement

Sit bone measurement helps determine a proper saddle width to help improve stability and comfort. From here, the fitters can recommend various saddle types and try saddles in real time to find one that best supports the rider.

Step 4: Saddle height and fore/aft

Analyzing the riders biomechanics when pedaling and statically, fitters can determine a saddle height/position that allows the rider to have an efficient and comfortable pedal stroke.

Step 5: Front end assessment

Looking at bar height/width, stem angle, and brake lever reach. The front-end assessment allows fitters to adjust various components as needed to fit the rider.
