Full Cycle sold Maverick bikes for 5 years from 2006 to 2011. Unfortunately in Jan of 2012 Maverick bicycles ceased operations. We sold about 150 Mavericks in that time, most of which are still being ridden.
As of Jan 2012, Paul Turner officially owns Maverick again and he is looking at options for restarting the company. Feel free to email Kaj, Full Cycle’s owner, with any questions about Maverick and the latest information: kaj@fullcyclebikes.com
There are a couple options for keeping your Maverick up and running. Your main option is just like normal, just bring your bike into Full Cycle, where we can still do most repairs.
Another option is a former Maverick employee, Ethan Franklin, is setting up a Maverick suspension center in Denver. He can be contacted at: 303-918-5414 Mavericksuspension@gmail.com. Ethan will be source some of the parts that will inevitably start to get harder to find, and he is a great Maverick resource.
It’s unfortunate that this fine brand has shut down, they are awesome bikes and forks. We’ll do our best to keep everyone riding them in the years to come.
